How did Spain's history impact it's actions in the New World?

We will begin looking at how Spain's history would have impacted the way the Spanish saw, and in turn treated the indigenous people of the 'New World'. Note that we are looking broad, sweeping trends and events to gain a general understanding of the Spanish world view at this time. There are many things that could be covered in more detail, that we will not go into remembering that our goal is to come to a basic understanding of why the Spanish behaved the way they did.

This activity will take us 2-3 classes to complete.

As we work through the readings and the questions, you need to follow the following instructions - They will help this activity to be more meaningful when it comes time for the assignment/test.

Option A:
